Description:
After previous successful project focused on excellence in the field of natural sciences the Mendel University continues in extending its excellence in applied research integrating the material, social-economic, energetic aspects of carbon transformation.
In very beginning of the project the current teams of researchers will be enriched by young Ph.D. graduates in internationally open competition procedure based primarily on evaluation of candidate's publishing performance and research intent.
The selected new team's members then leave for 3-5 months study stays to co-operating institutions in abroad. After the return they involve in research at Mendel University disseminating experiences obtained during the study stay at foreign institutions.
The project aims to transfer the experiences, incentives, research customs, contacts, etc. from foreign research institution to improve the research quality, publishing performance, involvement in international R&D networks and knowledge transfer to academic staff and students.
Planned activities:
- Setting-up new high-quality R&D teams focused on matherial and energetic carbon transformation.
- Inter-sectoral mobility among institutions engaged in research of matherial and energetic carbon transformation.
- Integration in international research networks throught foreign co-operating institutions.
